Privacy Policy for VAS Teleprompter

VASApps Labs ("we," "us," or "our") provides VAS Teleprompter as a free application with advertising and optional Pro functionality. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

VASApps Labs does not operate servers that collect or store your teleprompter scripts, recorded videos, camera content, microphone recordings, contacts, or location.

Your teleprompter content and recorded videos remain on your device unless you choose to move, copy, or share them yourself.

The app does use third-party services such as Google AdMob. Those services may process certain information as described below.

2. Permissions We Use and Why

Camera: Used to display the live camera preview behind the teleprompter and to record video when you choose to use these features.

Microphone: Used to record audio together with video when you use the recording feature.

Storage / Photos and Videos: Used where required by Android to save or access videos associated with the app. Recorded videos are stored locally on your device, including in Movies/VAS_Teleprompter where supported.

Bluetooth: May be used for compatible Bluetooth remote controls or presentation clickers. VAS Teleprompter supports remote key events such as Volume Up for Play/Pause and Volume Down for Reset. We do not use this permission to collect Bluetooth device information for advertising or analytics.

VASApps Labs does not use these permissions to collect your contacts, call logs, or precise location.

3. Third-Party Services

VAS Teleprompter uses certain Google services that may process information independently under Google's policies.

Google AdMob: VAS Teleprompter uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements in the free version of the app. Google and participating advertising partners may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, advertising interactions, and related information as permitted by applicable law and according to the user's privacy choices.

Depending on applicable privacy requirements and the choices made by the user, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, limited, or other eligible forms of advertising.

Google Play Billing: VAS Teleprompter may use Google Play Billing for optional paid or Pro functionality. Payment processing is handled by Google Play. VASApps Labs does not receive your credit-card number or other full payment-card details.

Google Play Services: The app may use Google Play services required for supported Android and Google functionality.

VASApps Labs does not currently use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Facebook SDK, or a separate third-party analytics or attribution SDK.

4. Local Data and Storage

Teleprompter scripts, app settings, and recorded videos used by VAS Teleprompter are stored locally on your device as applicable.

VASApps Labs does not maintain a server containing copies of your scripts or recorded videos.

You can remove locally stored information using the controls provided by your device and the app where applicable. Uninstalling the app removes app-specific local data according to Android's normal behavior, although media files saved outside the app's private storage may remain on your device until you delete them.

5. Advertising and Privacy Choices

VAS Teleprompter uses Google AdMob to support the free version of the app.

Google and its advertising partners may use information necessary to provide, measure, secure, and personalize advertising, subject to applicable law and the privacy choices available to you.

Where required, VAS Teleprompter uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present a consent or privacy message before advertising-related processing occurs.

Your available advertising choices may depend on your country or region and applicable privacy laws.

6. Children's Privacy

VAS Teleprompter is not specifically directed to children under 13, and VASApps Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children through its own servers.

Third-party services used by the app are governed by their respective policies and applicable requirements.

7. European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom and Switzerland

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other locations where applicable European privacy requirements apply, VAS Teleprompter uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for advertising privacy and consent management.

The Google consent message may provide information about advertising purposes, data use, and participating advertising vendors. Depending on the message presented in your region, you may be able to:

VASApps Labs does not determine the privacy practices of individual Google advertising partners. Additional details about purposes, vendors, data processing, and retention may be presented directly within Google's consent interface.

Changing or Withdrawing Your Privacy Choices

Where Google requires a privacy-options entry point, you can review or change your advertising privacy choices from within VAS Teleprompter.

Open the three-dot menu (⋮) near the top-right of the app and select Privacy choices. Google's privacy-options form will open and allow you to review or modify the choices available to you.

Changing or refusing consent does not necessarily mean that no advertisements will be displayed. The type of advertising that Google is permitted to serve may change according to your choices and applicable requirements.

Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to personal data, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, and data portability.

VASApps Labs does not maintain a server database containing your teleprompter scripts or recorded videos.

International Data Processing

Google and participating advertising providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Information about Google's international data-transfer practices and safeguards is available in Google's privacy documentation.

8. Data Retention

VASApps Labs does not maintain server-side copies of your teleprompter scripts or recorded videos.

Locally stored content remains on your device until it is deleted by you, removed through the app or operating system where applicable, or otherwise removed according to Android's storage behavior.

Information processed by Google or other third-party services is subject to those providers' respective retention policies.

9. Security

Because VASApps Labs does not operate a server containing your scripts or recordings, those materials are not uploaded to a VASApps Labs server.

Third-party services integrated into the app use their own technical and organizational security measures according to their respective policies.

No method of electronic processing or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, third-party services, legal requirements, or privacy practices change.

When this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page and the Effective Date above will be updated.
